To become Patient-First Certified, each healthcare practitioner or doctor must read, agree to, and sign the following 10 guiding principles. These principles define Premium Doctors’ uncompromising commitment to putting patient well-being before all else:
Patient-First Principles
1. I pledge to prioritize patient health, safety, and well-being over financial considerations in all medical decisions.
2. I will recommend treatments based solely on medical need, evidence, and patient preferences.
3. I will fully respect patient autonomy, rights, and informed consent in all interactions.
4. I will communicate with empathy, honesty, and transparency.
5. I will avoid over-treatment or unnecessary procedures driven by financial incentives.
6. I will protect the privacy and dignity of every patient.
7. I will continuously seek improvement in the patient experience.
8. I will hold myself and my team accountable to high ethical and professional standards.
9. I will display the Patient-First Commitment Statement visibly in my practice for patients to see.
10. I will support a healthcare culture where care, not commerce is the standard.
Swearing of Patient-First Oath
I, the undersigned healthcare practitioner, do solemnly swear and pledge before my professional community and the global medical public that I shall uphold, apply, and protect the core principles of the Patient-First Philosophy as defined by Premium Doctors.
I recognize that the trust placed in me by my patients is sacred. I pledge to place their health, dignity, and well-being above all commercial or personal gain. I will honor my duty with integrity, empathy, and unwavering respect for patient autonomy, confidentiality, and informed decision-making.
By signing this oath, I commit to the following:
• To integrate the ten Patient-First Principles into every aspect of my medical practice.
• To avoid any treatment or recommendation motivated by profit instead of need.
• To provide care that is ethical, transparent, and based solely on evidence and patient benefit.
• To maintain a high standard of compassion, honesty, and human dignity in every patient interaction.
• To visibly install the Patient-First Commitment Statement in the patient reception or entrance area of my clinic as a permanent reminder to my patients, my team, and myself of this solemn promise.
